Event Feedback Guide: Live & Post-Event Operations
How to run feedback at events: pre-event logistics check, live session pulse, post-event deep dive, and how to route operational issues in real time without disrupting the agenda.
Maximizing Event Engagement
Event feedback requires a split strategy: real-time monitoring during the event to resolve logistics, and reflective feedback post-event to measure content quality and overall success.
1. Deploy Live session Pulses
Use QR codes on screens or seats to capture immediate feedback after keynote or break-out sessions. Keep these surveys extremely short - 1 or 2 questions maximum - to maximize response rates.
2. Build Real-Time Operational Alerts
Route venue complaints (temperature, audio quality, catering) directly to the operational team via chat integrations so issues can be fixed while the event is ongoing.
3. Conduct the Post-Event Deep Dive
Send a comprehensive survey 24 hours after the event closes to assess overall value, NPS, speaker effectiveness, and future interest. Share these insights with organizers to plan future event budgets.
